First, the general idea of your application is fantastic! However, I find your UI very frustrating. Please consider the following for future improvements…. 1. User definable default opening screen. 2. “Flag” for each equity in My Portfolio screen indicating that there is an opportunity ( if one exists ). This would eliminate having to go to the last trading day graph only to find out that there is none! This is out right stupid and frustrating. Further it should/will eliminate a lot of data you need to push needlessly. 3. In My Portfolio screen… the direction arrows do not need to take so much real-estate, instead increase the font size for at least the net price change and scale down the arrows. 4. In this version, the auto-update does not always work, nor do most people need the RT info continuously. I recommend manual update button hence further minimizing the push bandwidth. 5. As best as I can tell… even with the 15s update, the quotes lag at least 1 minute, so advertizing the product as having RT quotes must be rubbing people wrong. 6. In Opportunities screen… why do I need to “squint” at the screen to see what symbol is the opportunity related to. The symbol should be clearly visible not dimmed. 7. In the last trading day graph.. the tool tip associated with the opportunity should serve as a link to the opportunity description. Also instead of displaying tool-tip with a percentage change … make it a time or provide some form of UI for time display so one does not need to count dots or make an estimate.
OK.. consider this a start.. let see how accommodating you folks are before I invest more time to my lamenting :)
